Robert (Bob) Allen Scherf of Lander, Wyo passed away Friday, June 17, 2011 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyo.
Bob was born Nov. 18, 1942 in Livonia, MI to Leonard and Evelyn Scherf. In 1966, Bob married his love, Sharen Widmaier and the had three children. He moved his family to Wyoming in 1977. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating but especially all of these things with his wife, family and friends. Bob provided for his family by trucking, construction, heavy equipment, operating and anything else necessary.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ann Scherf and granddaughters ; Courtney Jean Tarbet and Luna Ann Cox.
Survived by: wife, Sharen E. Scherf. Children: Brian T. Overcash and wife Cynthia B. Overcash, Kimberly A. Cox and husband Marvin E. Cox, Tracy J. Givens and husband Ronnie E. Givens, Leonard W. Scherf and wife Deborah H. Scherf. Grandchildren; Jessica E. Scherf, Christopher R. Cox, Ashley R. Macaraeg, J.D. Tarbet, Dalton J. Givens, Jeffrey M, Scherf, Nicholas S. Beverly, Jacob M. Beverly, Chassity S. Overcash and Holly B. Overcash. Great-Grandchildren; Kael L. Creed, Sydney M. Macaraeg, JayLynn R. Macaraeg and Waylon B. Scherf.
Bob is greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held by the family on Saturday, June 25th at 1:00 PM. At the home of Lenny and Debbie Scherf, 98 Ray Lake Road, Lander, Wy.
