She was born Feb. 14, 1915, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Zender Scherf. She married Ed Lucasey in 1946; he died in 1981.
Mrs. Lucasey was a homemaker and a nurse's aide at St. John's Hospital. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors: many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Funeral Mass: 1 p.m. Thursday, Sacred Heart Church, the Rev. John Nolan officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
