Berniece Byrd, age 80, of Trenton, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Henry Ford Hospital in Wyandotte, MI.
Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Archdiocesan Cemetery Brownstown, Michigan. Cremation has taken place.
Born on October 31, 1931 in Carleton, Michigan, she was the daughter of Ralph and Edith (Chopson) Schneider.
She was employed with Chrysler Trenton Engine Plant until retiring. Berniece was a member of Moose Lodge in South Rockwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orville Byrd and 2 sons, Michael and Dennis Wright.
Surviving are son, Gregory Wright of Trenton; 2 daughters, Madeline Goudos and Robin Wright both of Florida; sister, Marge Wasilewski, 5, grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Henry Ford Hospice-Wyandotte.
