Kathleen B. Reinheimer Smith, 77, of Pittsgrove passed away at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born in Vineland to the late Russell and Margaret (Bowen) Schureman, where she remained a lifelong resident before moving to Pittsgrove in 2002. She attended Vineland schools and was a member and past president of Parents without Partners. Kathleen was charitable and active in all aspects of the Humane Society. A homemaker most of her life, Kathleen was employed for several years as a playground aide at Dane Barse Elementary School in Vineland. She enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, and painting ceramics. Kathleen especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her little dog Buttons.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine M. Toscano of Ocean City; son Gilbert W. Reinheimer Jr.; several brothers and sisters; granddaughter and husband, Kristin McCarthy Fox and Michael Fox; granddaughter, Briana Toscano; grandson, Nicolas Toscano; grandson, Gilbert W. Reinheimer III; predeceased first husband, Gilbert W. Reinheimer Sr.; and second predeceased husband, James K. Smith.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from Siloam Cemetery, 550 N. Valley Ave., Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland.
