IRENE CAROLINE (SCHWARTZ) HARRISON was the 2nd of 5 children born to HARRY AUGUSTUS SCHWARTZ a native of Nova Scotia, Canada (1863-1923) and IDA POE born in California (1874-1943). Her siblings were:

HAZEL ALICE SCHWARTZ-WALDORF (1891-1982)
LEONA "LEE" SCHWARTZ-FOLEY (1896-1981)
HARRY A SCHWARTZ (1901-1966)
KENNETH IRVING SCHWARTZ (1908-1988) #55621909

On April 8, 1917, Irene married IRA DeWITT HARRISON in Contra Costa County, California. They would go on to have three daughters with the first one being born about 1920 followed by 1928 and 1930.

Irene and Ira are buried next to each other.

-------------------------------------
Irene is buried in a plot owned by MASONIC CEMETERY on the grounds of SACRAMENTO CITY CEMETERY. While this is unusual, Masonic purchased the plot from the Children's Receiving Home, who was no longer using the large plot. There are approximately 50-60 people who fall into this category and I will list them and their photos under both cemeteries as this is such an unusual circumstance. You will need to contact MASONIC CEMETERY for any information concerning this person. The only information SAC CITY CEMETERY can give you is the location of the plot, not the grave, however the plot is not very big and easy to locate names on headstones.
