University of Illinois Champaign: Mechanical Engineering and Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. Career Hughes Tool Company which became Baker Hughes. Member of The Society of Mining Engineers, American Institute of Mining and Petroleum Engineers, The Canadian Institute of Mining, International Association of Drilling Contractors, Founding and Board Member of the Institute of Drilling Technology. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Korean War Veterans Association, and Founding Member of the 11th Engineer (Combat Korea) Battalion Association.
Survived by wife of 54 years, two sons, three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and one sister.
