Manchester resident and Shelbyville native Maude Louise Allen, 94, died March 7 at Manchester Health Care Center.

A homemaker and a member of Summitville Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late J.D. and Anna Jane Anderson Scruggs; and was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Allen; and grandson, Gary Don Allen.

She is survived by children, Donnie, Gary, John, and Tom Allen, Vivian Benson, Wanda Bailey and Patsy Harmon, all of Summitville, Bobby Allen of Smartt Station, Malinda Taylor Manchester and Gloria Brown of Morrison; 30 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Coffee County Funeral Home Chapel with Mark McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Summitville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Coffee County Funeral Home.

Coffee County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
