Jeanette Jones April 1, 1963 - April 25, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Jeanette Erene Jones, 51, a resident of Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, departed from this life on Friday, April 25, 2014, in her residence. Jeanette was born to James Jones and Ezra Scruggs in South Bend, Indiana, on April 1, 1963. She was a lifetime resident of South Bend. She was employed as a restaurant cook. Her hobbies included puzzles, computer games and Facebook. Loved ones who survive include a daughter, Shirri Jones; two sons, Jason (Tammy Beasley) and Marcus Jones, all of South Bend, IN; ten grandchildren, Brant Davis, Braiona Jones, Ja`mier Jackson, Jaden Jones, Sabrina Jones, Trinity Jones, Devin Jones, Tre`Shawn Roberts, Arianna Roberts and Michael; her father, James Jones; sisters, Stacey Nevels, all of South Bend, IN, Lawanda Porter and Helen Wilson, both of Wisconsin, and Camry Jones of Texas; brothers, Savoi Evans, Andre Evans, Timothy Evans, Robin Jones and Dion Jones, all of South Bend, IN, James Jones of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Danny Washington of Minnesota; and her boyfriend, Leonardo Miller, South Bend, IN; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ezra Scruggs; and a brother, Thomas Malone-Jefferson. Funeral services for Ms. Jones will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at Alford's Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted. Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
