Ms. Joyce Marie Pearson was born to the parentage
of Edna and Sherman Scruggs in Fort Worth, Texas on
December 30, 1946. She passed away on December
14, 2007 in Dallas, Texas.
She was a graduate of Manuel Arts in Los
Angles, California. She furthered her education by
attending college for two years. She was employed by
James Madison High School as a clerk in the work
studies program. Joyce enjoyed basketball, cooking
and spending time with her family and friends. She
was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, James Jackson (Shelia) and Damian Pearson; three stepsons, Rodney, Ramon and Reginald Pearson; stepdaughter, Pamela Williams and Titiana Ewing; stepson, Alvin T. Roney; two sisters, Lessie Louis and Ruth Norman; one brother; four grandchildren, Bianca Robinson, DaiSheketria Robinson, Alexis Robinson and Yazmine Rudd; godson, Adrian Fletcher and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
