Judith 'Juda' Scruggs married William Bradshaw, a tobacco planter, ca 1712-1716 In Henrico County, Virginia.
In 1718/19 Judith Bradshaw inherited land from her parents. This land had originally been part of the Field (her mother's family) inheritance.
From the will of Charles Scruggs, planter: " I give and bequeath to my son (son-in-law) William Bratcher (Bradshaw) and to my daughter Juda all my worldly goods and possessions that now is called mine to them and their heirs for ever." This will was written on 20 December 1718, and probated 2 February 1718/19.
The land mentioned in Charles Scruggs' will had come to him by his marriage to Mary Field Jones, widow of Edward Jones.

Judith 'Juda' was half-sister to Tabitha Jones (Robinson or Robison, Robertson)

Juda and William lived in Henrico County until 1733, when they moved to Goochland County. There they lived in an area which became Southam Parish in Cumberland County in 1749.
They had the following known children together:

When William Bradshaw died in 1747 in Goochland County, Juda was granted administration to his estate.

It is not known when Juda passed away.
