Marshfield Herald, Apr 23, 1921

Frank Seidl of Fenwood was instantly killed last Saturday and ten other workmen badly injured, when the framework of a large barn, being built on a farm near Fenwood, suddenly collapsed. Seidl was struck by one of the large timbers which crushed him beneath its weight. Other of the workmen escaped with broken arms, legs, and body bruises but none so seriously that they will not recover. Those who witnessed the accident say it happened on account of not having the framework properly braced.

The remains of Mr. Seidl were taken to his former home at Hewitt for burial. He was 31 years of age and leaves a widow and small family. In addition to these are his mother, Mrs. Joseph Seidl of Hewitt and three brothers, Leo of this city, Joseph of Colby and John of Minneapolis.
