Appleton Post Crescent, Tues. Mar. 14, 1978, p. D4, c. 1. Mrs. Clara Koehn, former of 316 Monroe St., Little Chute, age 89, died at 9:25 a.m. Monday. She was born Dec. 30, 1888 in Sherwood. She had owned and operated the Little Chute Theatre until her retirement in 1950. Mrs. Koehn was a member of the St. Elizabeth Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Clarence (Merla) Lamers, Little Chute; and Mrs. Gilbert (Imogene) Frank, Kimberly; five sons: Anthony, Neenah; Roger, Little Chute; James, Kimberly; Clyde, LaGrange, Illinois; and Kenneth, Green Bay; a brother, West Seidel, Sherwood; 29 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Frank, in 1977, two sisters, and a brother. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with the Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a St. Elizabeth Society rosary at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
