Loving wife and aunt Canandaigua-Gladys M. Baker, age 82, formerly of Canandaigua Ave., died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at her home at Quail Summit. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William E. Baker; sister-in-law, Viola Sennett; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her son, John H. Baker in 2002; brother, Donald Sennett in 2009; and sister, Evelyn Rush in 2010. Mrs. Baker was born in South Bristol and was the daughter of Leon and Cora(Berry)Sennett. She attended schools in Naples. She worked at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua for many years. Mrs. Baker was an active member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Ridge Cemetery, Co. Rd. 33, Naples. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 415 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Canandaigua.
