FORMER IRMA RESIDENT PASSES

Mrs. J.N.C. Seton, a former resident of Irma, passed away in Vancouver, B.C., on Monday, Mar. 15, after a few months illness. Her husband predeceased her fourteen years ago. She leaves to mourn her untimely passing a son, Serg. A.C. Seton, with the Canadian Army overseas, Mrs. A.C. Seton and son, Robert, of Vancouver, and her niece, Mrs. Oliver Thomas of Reno, Nev. U.S.A.

Agnes McConnochie was born in Sale, England, came to Canada in 1911, was married to J. Nigel C. Seton at Lac St. Anne, Alta., in 1913. They came to Irma in 1918 where they farmed until Mr. Seton's death in 1929.

Mr. and Mrs. Seton made a host of friends in Irma and district, who were shocked to hear of Mrs. Seton's severe illness and passing at the age of 62 years. Her niece, Mrs. Thomas, accompanied the remains to Irma, where burial was made in the family plot. The service was conducted from the Irma United church by Rev. Canon A. M. Trindell of All Saints' Cathedral, Edmonton, a friend of the family of long standing.

The pall bearers were Messrs. R.C. McFarland, T. Sanders, Pryce Jones, R. Askin, F. Hill and R.L. Eaton of Holden.
