Mary Anne Harrington, 90, of Syracuse, died on Tuesday at St. Camillus. She was born in Syracuse and was a former 40 year employee of Goldberg's Furniture. Mrs. Harrington was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, a Democrat committee person, a member of the Knights of Columbus #5398 Auxiliary, a sports enthusiast, avid bowler and active member of the Eastwood Senior Center. She was predeceased by her husband, John "Humpy"; sisters, Eileen McLaughlin and Rita Ganley; and a brother, Thomas Sharkey. She is survived by her son, Shawn (Lynn) of Skaneateles; brother, Jack Sharkey of Connecticut; grandson, Sean; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 3111 James St. Contributions may be made to the Eastwood Senior Center, 401 S. Midler Avenue, Syracuse 13206.
