Dorothea Jane Pezanowski, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
Dorothea was born June 11, 1922 to Michael and Ada (Milner) Sharkey in Du Bois, PA. She worked at New York Telephone in Peekskill, NY as a Telephone Operator for over twenty years.
Dorothea is survived by her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, several nieces and a great-nephew. She was predeceased by her husband George Pezanowski in 2006 and brothers Michael and James Sharkey.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 11:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
