Mrs. Alice S. Conrad, 88, formerly of 122 W. Thomas St., died yesterday in a Rome hospital after a long illness.
She was born August 17, 1877 in Burnbrae, Ontario Canada, daughter of Francis and Margaret White Shea, and attended Burnbrae schools.
On October 13, 1903, she was married to Frank Conrad. He died October 16, 1949.
Before coming to Rome soon after her marriage, she worked for many years for the General Electric Co. in Schenectady.
Mrs. Conrad was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She leaves no known relatives.
