Bertha Mae Shelby Duncan, 89, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, Dec. 19, 2016.
She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and loved her church.
Bertha is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Howard Duncan; and grandson, John Mark Adkins of Oak Ridge.
She is survived by her children, Ann Arnold (Terry) of St. Petersburg, Fla., Lynn Langford of Augusta, Ga., Trixie Heeter (Tom) of Oak Ridge, Nancy Hammons (Nathan) of Kingston, Phil Duncan (Debbie) of Sanborn, N.Y., and David Duncan of Richmond, Va.; granddaughter, Angela Brasier and great-granddaughter, Eternity Perry of Atlanta; grandson, Craig Parrish (Alison) and great-grand sons, John and Will of Augusta, Ga.; granddaughter, Natalie Zimmerman (Adam) and great-granddaughter, Ellah of Kingston; grandson, Tyler Duncan of Farmington, Mass.; and grandson, Joshua Burge of St. Petersburg, Fla., and great-granddaughter, Taylor Ensor of Oak Ridge.
A memorial service will be held at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 151 Edwards Road, Harriman, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, with Dennis Jarnigan officiating.
