Sandra "Sandi" L. Barker, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 7, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Sandra was born March 4, 1944, in Wilmar, CA, to Clarence Shore and Treasa Adamson Shore. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1962, and married Milt Barker. They had three sons and were later divorced.

Sandra worked as a librarian at Hillview Elementary, and as an executive secretary at the INL. She was a cub scout leader, her hobbies included sewing, camping, and horses. She also raced cars and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Sandra is survived by her parents; sons: Jim (Penny) Barker, of Idaho Falls, ID, John (Paula) Barker, of Rupert, ID, and Tony Barker, of West Richland, WA; brothers: Rocky (Karen) Shore and Bill Shore, all of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters: Judy (Larry) Phillips, of Aberdeen, ID, and Jill (Cordell) Olsen, of Idaho Falls; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services. Burial will be at a later date.
