She was born Peggy Shore on April 9, 1916, at Leavenworth and graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1933. O Feb. 2, 1934, she married bud Ault at Wenatchee. Following their marriage, they made their home at Lake Wenatchee until 1942 when they moved to Chelan.
Mrs. Ault was employed at the Leavenworth Echo and was a reporter for the Wenatchee Daily World. She was later employed at the Chelan Valley Mirror.
She had served several years on the Chelan County Library Board; was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church; and was past worthy matron of Silver Star Chapter 93, Order of Easter Star.
Survivors include her husband, Bud, Spokane; two sons, Roger, Spokane, and Earle, Hartford, Conn.; three brothers, Allen Shore, Wenatchee, Hardy Shore, Ellensburg, and Matt Shore, San Jose, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
