She held the offices of secretary and treasurer in many organizations due to her organizational skills. She was a licensed practical nurse employed by Sacred Heart Hospital in Chester, PA from where she retired.
She was a member of the Leah Chapter #27 of the Eastern Star and the Beulah Tent, Royal Degree Chamber #14. She was married to the late Clarence Jordan Sr. and was predeceased by her eldest daughter Jerrisha Wilson. Survivors: her son Clarence (Alberta) Jordan Jr. and her daughter Theodora (Earl Sr.) Jackson.
Five grandchildren: Kenya Jordan (Melvin), Pastor LaWanda Wilson Swan (Darryl), Earl Jackson Jr. (Bethany), Rebecca Jackson and Jacqulyn Jackson and nine great grandchildren.
