Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, and visitation with the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m. at Adams and Sons Mortuary.
She died at 3 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2000, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
A native of Caldwell County, she was born Dec. 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Thomas and Maggie Lucille Simms. She was a medical technician at Gainesville manor and Pennyrile Nursing Home and was a member of the Freeman Chapel CME Church where she was a member of choirs and she was a member of the Amigas Club. Her husband, the Rev. Douglas Frazier, died in 1995.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Green, Louisville, Regina Grooms and Elaine Parker, both of Hopkinsville; a brother, Bennie T. Simms, Detroit; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
