Mrs. Julia Christianson of Max, N. Dak., passed away last week Wednesday at Marvin, S. Dak., where she had been receiving treatment for neurasthenia. She has been ill for two and one-half years. Mrs. Christianson, whose maiden name was Julia Shogren, was born in Belle River township and was 40 years one month and 29 days of age. She was married to Christ Christianson in 1915 and they went to Max, N. Dak., to make their home where Mr. Christianson was employed by the Soo Railway. She leaves to mourn her loss the bereaved husband and two children, a daughter Vivian and a son Kenneth, also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. N. J. Nelson, Carl, John, Emil, Anna (Mrs. Oscar Christofferson), Joseph, Albin and Wilmer. Two sisters have preceded her in death. Mrs. Christianson was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by her family and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 at the N. J. Nelson home and at 2 o'clock at the Fahlin church, Rev. P. E. Ording officiating. The pallbearers were four brothers and two cousins, Carl, John, Albin, Wilmer, Emil and Herman Shogren. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
