Bonnie Jean Boren, age 69, passed away September 1, 2012 in Provo, Utah.
Bonnie was born May 6, 1943 in Salt Lake City to Walter Oscar and Anna Jacoba Stuurman Sjogren.
She married Darrell Boren in Salt Lake City. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and just being a Grandma. Her family was her number one enjoyment.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Boyd (Rose) Nielsen of Riverton, Barry (Stacey) Nielsen of Taylorsville, Barbi Nielsen of South Carolina, Walter Roy Schexnider of Ferron, Holley Boren of Huntington, Tracey Boren of Nebraska, and Chris Boren of Ferron; a sister, Bobbie (Lyle) Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, Don (Lisa) Sjogren of St. George; 21 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 more great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; parents, Walter and Anna Sjogren; and one grandson, Jonathan Boren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ferron City Cemetery. There will be a viewing that day from 11:00 – 1:00 at Fausett Mortuary (720 North Center Street, Castle Dale).
