A daughter of Walter E, Sr. and Blanche Brooks Smith, she married Charles West on Oct. 29, 1966 in Galesburg, IL. She was survived by one sister Iva Jean Maher, and preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. She was an assembler at Gale Products Division of Outboard Marine Corp. for 10 years. She was then an inspector and assembler at Admiral Corporation. She retired in 1971.
