Daughter of Robert H. and Eva Goodman Stone. She married Harry R. Smith on May 24 1934. He died in 1982. Surviving are two sons Lawerence (Larry) Smith and Thomas J. Smith. A son Jerry Smith preceded her in death. She has seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister Virginia Connor. She worked in the cafeteria at Knox College for 10 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and its women's circles, and was a member of the fomer Eagles Aerie 518 Auxiliary.
