Glenn Roy Smith, passed away March 4, 2005, after a courageous battle with Liver Cancer. He was born April 17, 1935 in Laurelville, Ohio to Bert Smith Sr. and Nellie A. Bussey. He met and married Karen Grange January 27, 1956. He is a member of the LDS Church and served in many positions. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Glenn was a salesman for Rainbow Bread, Puritan Pie Company and became an Insurance Agent. He is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Ronald (Penny), Denver, Co., Robert (Debbie), Riverton, Glenn - Midvale, and Kim (Charla), West Valley; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Archie, Denver, Co., Max -Houston, TX.; sisters, Ernestine Griffith, Columbus, Ohio, Madeline Griffith, Lima, Ohio and Jeanie Carnes, Chula Vista, Ca.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother; and a sister. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 8th, 1:30 p.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 So. Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale, where friends and family may call from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm prior to the services also at the Utah Veterans Memorial Chapel. Funeral Directors Larkin Sunset Gardens.
