Beverly J. Grandprey
Age 89 of St Paul Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Harold; sons Gary (Victoria Parks, Julie Tamble), Greg (Kim), daughter Gail (David Palmateer); grandchildren Brad, Ben, Jennifer, Josh, Amber and Heather; great grandchildren Parker, Sabrina, Jocelyn, Jayce, Nathan, Dylan and Chase. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas A and Florence P Smith, four brothers and three sisters. Beverly worked at G.L.F. of Ithaca NY after graduation and moved to St Paul MN in 1946. She later worked at Brown & Bigelow and met her future husband Harold in 1947. They married on May 1st 1948. Beverly and Harold cared for over 40 foster children in their home. She worked as a certified medical aide for 23 years, retiring in 1992. Beverly was very active in her church choir and at ladies functions. She also sang at many additional functions. Funeral service will be held at Roseville Covenant Church, 2865 Hamline Avenue North, Saint Paul, MN 55113 (RCC) at 11:00 AM Tuesday January 27th with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to RCC. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
