Abbie was born to Richard and Marie Anderson and grew up in the Barron, Wis., area, graduating from Barron High School in 1940. She worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines.
Surviving are a sister, Helen Bjelde; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. "Dick"; a brother, Richard Anderson; and a sister, Ruby Hendrickson.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, from Henry W. Anderson Mortuary (www.henrywanderson.com, 952-432-2331), 147th and Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, Minn., with interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn.
A gathering of family and friends will be held an hour prior to services.
