Helen Demry was born in Booneville, Missouri in 1901.At the age of 17, she came to Minnesota with her father and 2 sisters: Corrine and Mamie. She married Lee Demry and together they had 9 children. Helen was a grandmother to 22 grandchildren and a host of great, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was one of the sweetest ladies that you could ever meet and she was the "Grand Puba" of the whole family and she is still greatly missed.
