Mrs. Margaret Bowles, 74, widow of William Bowles of 206 Pearl street, died Sunday afternoon of a heart attack. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Alice P. Smith. surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Armstead Booker of Red Bank.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the late residence, with Rev. Richard Councill, pastor of the Shrewsbury avenue African Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in White ridge cemetery, under the direction of the Mount memorial home.
