CLARK — Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Smith Kansky of Clark, formerly of Westfield, widow of Raymond D. Kansky, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Gray Memorial, Cranford, with the Rev. Russell E. Potter, rector of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, Rahway, officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
Mrs. Kansky died Saturday in Rahway Memorial Hospital, Rahway, after a brief illness. She was 56.
Born in North Plainfield, she had lived in Westfield five years before moving to Clark 17 years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Douglas M. of Clark; James D. of Rahway, and Carl R. of Avenel; a daughter, Mrs. Janice M. Botulinski of Elizabeth; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Smith of North Plainfield; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Aldrich, Watchung; Mrs. Evelyn Lane, Hillside and Mrs. Vivian McCallen, South Plainfield, and a brother, William C. Smith Jr., North Plainfield.
