Born Anne Denzer in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, Mrs. Smith graduated from St. Frances Xavier High School in that borough. She moved to Pleasant Plains in 2000.
Mrs. Smith was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Brookyln.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Ron; four sons, Ron Jr., Thomas, Robert, and James; four daughters, Donna Gomes, Carol Varon, Margaret Smith, and Elizabeth Buritica; and twelve grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Monday from the Harmon Home for Funerals, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, both Pleasant Plains.
Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, also Pleasant Plains.
