Mary Grace Smith Allen Wade 1942 ~ 2005 LEWISTON, ID - Mary Grace Smith Allen Wade, 83, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Logan, UT. Born to Edwin Woodruff Smith and Ethel Olga Akert Neff on January 26, 1922, in Mill Creek, UT, she enjoyed a rich and happy life. She married Reed Roundy Allen (1919-1980) on January 5, 1942, in the Salt Lake Temple. They eventually settled in San Rafael, CA with their four children. Reed and Mary Grace moved to Sunnyvale in 1978, and Reed passed away in 1980. Mary Grace later married Daniel Leigh Wade (1911-2000), in the Jordan River LDS Temple on November 24, 1984. They settled in Washington, UT. Following Daniel's passing, she moved to Lewiston, UT. A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mary Grace was an example of unselfish service and faith. She spent her time caring for others and attending to family history. She is survived by her children Kenneth Reed (Susan) Allen, Palo Alto, CA; Kathryn Allen (John) Bright, Lewiston, UT; Venette Allen (Gary) Kragenbrink, Central City, CO; and Scott Edwin (Terry) Allen, Occidental, CA; 23 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; seven great-grand children, 11 step-great-grand children; brothers Raymond (Jean) Smith, John (Faye) Smith, Robert (Carol) Smith, Albert (Norine) Smith, David (Alene) Smith, and sister-in-law Kaye (Loyd) Smith; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, sister Vivian Ethel Smith Stoddart, brothers Lloyd, and Stanley, step-daughter Venis Kay Wade Allred (Dale), step-granddaughter Kerri Allred Puckering (David), and step-great-grandson, Desert Puckering. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in the Lewiston 3rd Ward Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop David Atkinson conducting. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Elysian Gardens, Murray, UT at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
