Edith Grace, daughter of W.H. and Eliza Smith was born February 14, 1880 in Elba Township where her entire life was spent. She was married to John Broadfield on Feb. 24, 1904.
Surviving are the husband; a brother, Fred Smith of Williamsfield; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle German of Williamsfield and Mrs. Hattie Trowbridge of Elmwood and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Hazel M. Bates and Miss. Lillie Smith. Interment will be in Williamsfield Cemetery. No children
