Mildred E. Bescheinen, age 87 of Brainerd, passed away on October 7, 2013 at Carefree Living in Brainerd.
Millie was born on March 19, 1926 in Farmington, MN to Oakley and Edna (Thomas) Smith.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Lorrie Bescheinen (Bryan Johnson) of Plymouth, Teri (Steven) Butler of Brainerd, and Randy (Anita) Bescheinen of Brainerd; grandchildren, Stacey Butler, Erin Butler, Kylie Johnson and Cole Johnson.
Millie is preceded in death by husband, Al; parents; sister, Eleanor; and infant brother, Russell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, Baxter Chapel, 7761 Excelsior Road, Baxter and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
A Celebration of Life for Millie will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home in Baxter.
Officiating at the service will be Pastor Renee McNeal.
Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
