FANWOOD — Mrs. Grace Gilby Smith, wife of Clarence B. Smith of 148 Midway avenue died Tuesday morning in her home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Westfield and had resided there before moving to Fanwood a year and a half ago. She had long been active in the Presbyterian Church of Westfield, and was also a member of the Westfield Woman's Club.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Miss Frances Smith of Tuckahoe, N.Y. and Mrs. Earl Taylor of Newark; one son, Clarence B. Smith Jr. of Westfield; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Gray's Funeral Home, Westfield. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
