Linda, 74, of Elsie, MI. passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, MI.
Funeral Services were held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 with Pastor Herb Wheelock officiating.
Linda was the daughter of Vern R.D. and Ruby E. (Debar) Somers. She graduated from Chesaning Union Schools. Linda married Malcolm Angell on November 23, 1968 at the Chapin United Methodist Church; Malcolm passed away July 5, 2014.
Linda loved crocheting, sewing, yard sales and playing card games. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Chapin United Methodist Church and the Chapin United Methodist Women's Group.
Linda is survived by her daughter Sandra and Mike Smith of Frederic, MI, son Carl Angell and Kari Sperling of Marion Springs, MI, grandchildren; Jessica Sperling of Marion Springs, MI, Justin Angell of Stanton, MI, Jozlynn Angell of Marion Springs, MI, great grandchildren; Karmin Johnson of Marion Springs, MI, Andrew Johnson of Marion Springs, MI, and Jaydon Angell of Stanton, MI, 3 sisters; Jeanette Mitchell of Madison, FL, Ruth Harris of Chesaning, MI, and Connie Correard of Bonita Springs, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Dean L. Somers.
