Wanda Kay Bailey, 32, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday November 1, 2010.
She was born January 26, 1978 in Springfield, Ohio and graduated from Northwestern High School.
She is the daughter of Henry & Debbie (Evans) Somers and is survived by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Bailey; children, Teyah Fullenkamp & Mark Bailey; brother, Henry & Sara Somers; sister, Becky Somers; uncles, John & Cheryl Evans, Ronald & Anna Mary Somers, Paul Somers; Aunt; Constance & Hewie Cox. A cousin to Welsey Cox, and Evans family, Michelle, Mariah, Justin, Christina, Angela, and Amber. A cousin to Somers family, Brian, Cindy, Ronald, and Scott, and an aunt to Ray Somers and Julia Somers.
Wanda loved her family & friends and her daughter was the light of her life. As a profession, she pursued numerous careers, but her love was pursuing a career as an amateur photographer. Games, cooking, planning, and watching sporting events were things she loved to do with family and friends. She recently married the love of her life and delivered a beautiful little boy on September 30, 2010. Soon after, she was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer and struggled to make it home to be with her new family. Her corky step in life motivated many individuals to live by doing and have fun by laughing. She was a unique woman who will be missed in which her attributes will pass on through family and friends.
There will always be a special place for her in many people's hearts and mind.
Due to the situation, all donations can be given to the Memorial Fund for her husband and two children at the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren where Wanda was a member. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday November 5, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
