Camilla Madeline Spinelli, 81, of Gustine, passed away May 13.

Mrs. Spinelli was a native of Gustine and was a lifelong West Side resident.

She was a homemaker, and also worked as a bus driver for the Gustine Unified School District for more than 20 years.

Mrs. Spinelli was a parishioner at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine, and belonged to the OLM Society, Catholic Daughters and YLI. She was also a Eucharistic minister for the shut-ins and elderly.

Her hobbies included painting ceramics and crocheting, and she was a talented seamstress who belonged to a sewing club.

Mrs. Spinelli had a sharp sense for numbers and enjoyed word scrambles. She also loved to cook.

She is survived by four daughters, Kathy Amarante (Ron) of Modesto, Marsha Freitas (Stan) of Los Banos, Antoinette "Toni" Tyree (Steve) or Oregon and Marti Knapp (Mark) of Turlock; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Spinelli; a son, Jack Spinelli; her parents, John and Camilla Rocha; two brothers and two sisters.

Services were held Monday. Interment was in Hills Ferry Cemetery.

Hillview Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
