Frank Spinelli, born December 3, 1915 in South San Francisco and Passed away in Madera on September 29, 2004 at the age of 88. Frank was a native of South San Francisco, and resident of Madera County since 1924. He had lived in Coarsegold, CA for 30 years on Spinelli Road until 2000, when he moved back to the city of Madera where he was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Madera and the Shepherd of the Sierra Lutheran Church in Coarsegold. Frank owned and operated Spinelli Dairy for many years with his brothers, in Madera. He was a member of the Madera Italo-American Club and was active in the American Cancer Society. Frank was also a member of the Coarsegold Historical Society, Madera County Historical Society, Fresno Flats Historical Society, and The Historical Society of Carson Valley. He was also active with the Alpha 4H Program and was a life member of the Gideon International. Frank was also a member of the VASA Lodge of Fresno. In addition Frank helped build part of Highway 41 from Coarsegold to Blackhawk.

Frank was preceded in death by his first wife Gertrude in 1998, and later married his present wife Hazel of Madera in 2000, who survives him. Frank was preceded in death by 6 siblings including Nat and Quinto Spinelli both of Madera. He is survived by his step daughter Elona Masson of Santa Barbara, and by a grandson Sammy Masson also of Santa Barbara.

Visitation is Sunday, October 3, 2004 from 2 to 6 PM in Jay of Madera. A Funeral Service will be Monday, October 4, 2004 at 11:00 AM in Trinity Lutheran of Madera. Interment will follow in Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
