FALMOUTH - Joanne M. (St. Denis) Chiodetti , 85, passed way peacefully on March 10, 013, at JML Care Center of Falmouth, after a brief illness. he was predeceased by her beloved late husband of 65 ears Gino C. Chiodetti .She is survived by her three chilren, Dr. Lynda Chiodetti of Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Thomas Chiodetti and wife Karen McDonald of Falmouth, and Daniel Chiodetti and wife Josephine of Sturbridge. Four grandchildren, Stacey Beauoin and her husband Rob, Lorrie Chiodetti and her husband Mike Lapp, Julie St. Lauent and her husband Kyle, and Bill Chiodetti and his wife Anne Marie; four adored great grandchildren Jake, Hailey, Grace and Jack. Joanne was born and raised in Plattsurgh, New York, the daughter of the late Marvin and Beatrice (Ducatte) St. Denis. She also had a brother Marvin Jr. She met her husband Gino, after he returned home hero after a lengthy overseas mission during WWII. They soon married and settled in Franklin, making it home for ver 60 years. They also had residences in Mantunuck, Rhode Island and Fort Pierce, Florida. She was a retired bank teller, having worked 15 years for the former South Shore Bank in Franklin, and Wrentham. She also served as President of the Whispering Creek Home Owner's Association; in addition she enjoyed the Red Hat Society, bingo, piano, was a voracious reader and had a keen sense of humor. She took great pride in all the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The center of Joanne 's life was her strong faith and her family. Calling hours will be Friday, March 15, from 5-8PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, Franklin. Joanne 's funeral will be held Saturday, March 16, from the funeral home, a Mass celebrating her life will be held at 10AM in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Sq., Franklin. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Sq., Franklin, MA 02038 Attention: Claire.
