Mrs. Ducharme was born on March 12, 1920, in St. Albans, Vt., daughter of the late Aldei and Azilda (Bouthillier) St. Denis. She had been a resident of Thomaston for 67 years and retired from the Seth Thomas Clock Company.
She is survived by a son, Albert G. Ducharme and his wife, Darlene, of Morris; a daughter, Marie S. Spicer and her husband, Alvin, of Sandusky, Ohio; two brothers, Joseph St. Denis of Waterbury, and John St. Denis of Thomaston; a sister, Rejeanne Kleindienst of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank "Marie's girls" from West Street Homecare who made her journey over the last 17 months much easier for her and her family.
