In 1990, doris and Russell moved back to Oklahoma to be closeer to family. She was a member of the Checotah First Baptist church.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Lee Duke and wife Dorian of Bakersfield, CA; her daughter, Betty L. Lashley and husband Jim of Checotah; her grandchildren, Steve, Todd and Jeff; and her great-grandchildren, Danyell, Jared, Jeremy and Shane.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell on March 27, 2007; her parents; three brothers, JB, John and Irlan; and five sisters, Jean, Ruby, Inez, Minnie & Mazie.
