Born in Bonham, Texas on August 14, 1943 to James William and Fayetta (Fogle) Stacy, she was raised a Texas girl. Linda graduated from Texas State School for The Deaf in Austin. She married Calvin Adams in Grand Prairie, and then moved to Arlington, then Abilene and College Station. She then divorced and came to Odessa in 2002 as a homemaker and to be close to her daughter.
Linda was member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Stacy.
Survivors include her son, Andy Adams of Arlington; daughter, Angie Gullett and husband Curtis of Odessa; sister-in-law, Sheila Stacy of Grand Prairie; niece, Amy Mills and husband Josh and their son, Jacob; and two grandchildren, Corey and Cody Gullett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home in Odessa, with the service to follow on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sunset Chapel.
Internment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Sherwood Baptist Building Fund.
