Brooksy E. Stanford, 93, rural Clay City, died Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Clay County Hospital, Flora.
Miss Stanford was born in Stanford Township, Clay County Nov. 10, 1884 to Austin W. and Harriet Blackburn Stanford.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Arvilla Stanford, rural Clay City; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at the Cardascio Funeral Home, Clay City, with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, rural Clay City. Bro. Sherrill Leckrone officiated.
