Funeral services for Estelle Stapleton Allen, age 77, of Columbia will be held 10:00 am Monday March 31, 2014 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Harrell" Bubba" Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Visitation will be on Sunday March 30, 2014 at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Born Estelle Stapleton on July 8, 1936 at Columbia, LA , she went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 28, 2014 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Allen, and by two precious daughters, Laura Tucker and Melissa Allen, and by her parents: John Wesley Stapleton and Fannie Laura Davis Stapleton.
Those left to cherish her memory: Her daughters: Monica Gentry and husband Gary of Columbia and Lea Ann Allen of Columbia; four sisters: Betty Sharp, Arlene Ruddell, Jo Ann Bresett and Virginia LeDaux; her grandsons: Zeb Tucker, Jacob Gentry, Zack Gentry and Brian Fatheree and five great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Zeb Tucker, Jacob Gentry, Zack Gentry, Jesse Jacks, Gary Tucker, and Gary Gentry.
