B. Emogene Sastic (nee Starr), age 79 of Woodstown, went home to be with the Lord Thursday February 1, 2007 at her home. Born in Uniontown, Pa., she grew up in Rochester, N.Y. For 30 years she resided in Sewell and since 1990 lived in Woodstown.
Mrs. Sastic was a faithful pastor's wife, serving the Sewell Community Baptist Church. She worked at Clearview Regional High School as an Administrative Secretary for more than 20 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mom and grandmom.
Beloved wife of Rev. Dr. Joseph J. Sastic, she is also survived by two sons, Dr. Jonathan W. Sastic and his wife Dr. Lois M. of Oneonta, N.Y., Dr. Daniel J. Sastic and his wife Cheryl E. of Pittsgrove, one daughter, Judy Gangemi and her husband Vincent S. 2nd of Mullica Hill, grandmother of Timothy and his wife Meriedith, Craig and his fiancée Karis, Vincent, Laura, and Jaclyn, Joseph and Joanna. One sister Frances Boise and her husband Roger of Marion, N.Y.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Woodstown 117 S. Main St. Woodstown, N.J. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
