OBITUARY
One of Gods angels has left the earth to join Him in Heaven. On May 24, 2014 Calinda Ann Vickrey passed away in her home in Marion, Texas. In her 59 years of life she contributed much to the world. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also an accomplished businesswoman and horse person. She generously gave much of her time and energy to an equestrian therapy organization for children with special needs. She was a loyal and loving person who cared deeply for her family and friends.

She is survived by Clyde Vickrey, her husband of 26 years, her daughter Chelaine Vickrey and grandson Christian Vickrey, her mother Margaret Staudt, her sister Bernie Henington, her stepdaughters Michelle Vickrey and Melinda Lee, her stepsons Greg Vickrey and Alan Vickrey, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Schertz Funeral Home at 2217 F.M. 3009 in Schertz, Texas on Wednesday, May 28th 2014 at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the equine therapy program to which she was extremely dedicated. Donations may be sent to Equessense Therapeutic Horse Play, 6062 Youngsford Road, Marion, TX, 78124 or online at www.equessense.org.
