Marilyn Bernice Creamer, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Marilyn was born Dec. 2, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., to John and Eugenia Staudt. Marilyn, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed the coast with Jim, and loved picking up seashells. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Tonie. Survivors: Her loving husband of 59 years, Jim; children, Jimmy Creamer and wife, Kim, Mary Jean Strittmatter and husband, Steve, Andy Creamer and wife, Leah, Jerry Creamer and wife, Julie, Jeff Creamer and wife, Shonda, and Pat Creamer and wife, Bonnie; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters; one brother; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and friends.
